Hedgehog Cake Pan - STADTER - 20cm
Great to make original hedgehog cakes.
Size of the mold : 20x15x6cm, 800ml.
Do not use scratch or abrasive stuff.
High-quality material. Non-stick.
Before and after each use, hand washing pan in hot soapy water is recommended.
Not dishwasher safe.
How to Make a Hedgehog Cake ?
- 140g butter
- 140g sugar
- 210g flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 60g cocoa
Beat butter and sugar until they foam. Individually mix the eggs into the butter-sugar mixture. Mix the flour with the baking soda, stir it into the mixture, and add the cocoa. Pour the dough into the greased and lightly powder-coated cake mould. Bake 30-40 min at 160°C.
After baking, lightly tap the cake mold on the table to loosen the cake. Afterwards let it cool for approx. 15min. Then dump the cake from the mold onto a rack and let it cool.
Now, cover the hedgehog with chocolate buttercream or melted chocolate. And decorate with sliced almonds or pieces of chocolate.
